No Games on March 4 2011

The NWASL board has agreed to move the Winter 2011 season one week so that March 4 can be an off date. As you know, on that evening the Major League Soccer's Cactus Cup will be in town. We hope this adjustment will allow for many of you and your families to attend this historic event at Hi Corbett Field.

AYSO
AYSO has sponsored a pilot program to incorporate adults and parents of youth already playing AYSO soccer to get involved themselves. We follow the AYSO youth policies and philosophies to create a good atmosphere for adults to learn the game of soccer and be good examples by having positive attitudes and good sportsmanship.

You can play with no soccer experience and learn as you go. We offer a recreational division for those that are new to the sport or want to play at a lower pace and with less aggressiveness.

We also offer an upper division for more advanced play. We still follow all of the AYSO philosophies but offer those that are experienced soccer players and have youth on their side to play against each other. Those that are under 30 are recommended to be in this upper division.

AYSO Area 12A
We started up in September of 2004 and had a successful first season with 8 teams. We are excited to have all the new players join us and to have all our returning players join us for a New Year and new season.

If you have any questions please contact us.

We would like to thank Region 206 (www.206soccer.com) who has sponsored us and helped us get started. If you have a child that is interested in playing soccer and is between the ages of 4 and 18 you can go to their web site and get information to get your child involved. We are all part of AYSO Area 12A, which encompasses the Regions in Southern Arizona. Please visit their website at www.ayso12a.org.

Thank You!
