Team Representative Contract
As a Team Representative (Team Rep) you have an important role to play in the success of your team throughout the season. Your role is to organize and direct your team. You have the responsibility to attend all Team Representative Meetings held and communicate all information received from the meeting to your team in a timely manner. You are the lifeline between your team and the league. It is imperative that you pass on all information that is given to you whether from a meeting or via email. The league would like to recognize the effort you will give to the league and your team during this season. For your dedication to fulfilling you team rep obligations, the league would like to reward you at the end of the season with a voucher for $50.00 to be used towards your registration for next season.
To receive this voucher you must perform all tasks listed below for the entire season.
- Attend for the duration of all Team Rep Meetings.
- Make sure all information received at the meeting is disseminated to your team in a timely fashion.
- Make sure all information received via email is disseminated to your team in a timely fashion.
- The League must not receive emails from players on your team about items that were covered at team rep meetings or in informational emails.
- Each game you must assign a team captain and notify the referee of your captain’s name and number.
- You are responsible for picking up or assigning a player on your team to pick up the field equipment for game night if your team is assigned the 6pm home game on the schedule.
- You are responsible for dropping off or assigning a player on your team to drop off the field equipment by Saturday after an 8:40pm game if your team is the home team on the schedule.
- If you are the first game of the night, your team must help set up the nets and corner posts.
- If you are the last game of the night, your team must help break down the nets and corner posts.
- If you are the home team you will provide three #5 size balls for use during the game.
- At the end of the game you must pick up all trash (ie. including tape, water bottles, etc.)
- Make sure you are re-enforcing a positive atmosphere on and off the field.
- Make sure all players on your team are familiar with the 4 card suspension rule and D&R policies.
- Make sure all players on your team are familiar with the sportsmanship point deductions.
- Make sure all players on your team are familiar with the proper guidelines for submitting feedback pertaining to the league and the referees.
- Make sure all communication to the league is respectful.
- Make sure all players on your team are familiar with the league website.
- You are responsible for adding new players to your roster properly by the deadline.
- You are responsible for communicating with new players that are interested in joining your team and giving them the proper instructions for registering.
- You are responsible for checking the on line roster for player’s eligibility.
- You can not receive more than one yellow card in a season.
Your contract is subject to the judgment of the league representatives and D&R board whether or not you’ve honored your responsibilities as a team rep and earned your voucher for the following season.
